    A comprehensive football manager

    • Options everywhere
    • Cheats
    • Online matches
    • Match commentaries should be even more varied
    • More artwork would have been appreciated

    "Mourinho, Guardiola... and you"

Football Manager 2014 raises soccer management to a new level. First off, all the usual commodities: hires and transfers, building stadiums and facilities, choosing sponsorship offers and, in short, climbing up from the amateur leagues to continental championships.

However, the best part isn't that, no matter how complete it is and how it's worth by itself, but the rest. This game also simulates what we could call "what you won't read in the papers", this is, spies and obscure and illegal stuff. In addition, the database is huge, and includes leagues often left aside by major developers as Poland, and even some oddities as Vietnam.

An option to play online against your friends is included. Great.

Although we would have liked that there were more "dark stuff", and user interface isn't the best around, the massive options and the gameplay depth make of this game worthy to be given a go by any football manager. Not only it's more complete than other similar games, it also has features unseen before. Recommendable, though perhaps not the best option to start with if you haven't ever played a similar game before.
