MADDEN NFL 25 by EA SPORTS™'s review

by Peter Warrior

The NFL sim at its best

  • Outstanding technical performance
  • Huge database
  • Fun both solo or online
  • It could have more fantasy stuff
  • Additional game modes would have been welcomed

"That's a hail Mary pass!!!"

This game needs no presentation. What it does need is a lot of free storage room, because it weighs nothing short of 1.2 Gb. Far are the times when we enjoyed Madden on our SNESs (remember? "fumble!") and here we are, playing the 25th anniversary edition on a mobile device.

In order to not bore anyone and not to make so evident how much I like Madden games (hence how biased this review might be), just let you know that it's the most impressive football game for mobile devices so far, in every regard. Just enjoying the solo campaign means fun for days, let alone the head-to-head mode. Everything you can imagine, every player you may have heard of, every possible fantasy tactic is here. And every possible in-app purchase in here, too.

Yes, that's all you need to know. Here's the best, and it costs as much as you're willing to pay for.
