Soccer Superstars is a true soccer game on its own, with its own management options, hiring and training players, creating your own character and even trying to lure superstars to your team. In short, it's like any other soccer game, with the same rules and the same everything (yes, there are offsides, too).
At least, it seems like any other soccer game, though it's much more than that. Characters can learn supernatural abilities, skills and special shoots, and the anime-manga-like graphics make of it something as fun as spectacular. It has all the options and stuff any good soccer game should, but in a fantastic world where extravagant powers can be summoned to kick a ball and score from sixty yards or make the ball do impossible spins.
This game's very difficult, at least in its first stages. Controls are quite tricky, and the AI has no mercy on you, so don't lose heart if you are put three, four or five goals past you. Anyway, don't worry, your players will learn and become faster and stronger, and your customized character will increase his physical and unnatural prowess in order to emulate what the superstars that give the name to this game do.
It's for free, though there's a notification on your status bar if you don't play too often. Power-ups and the most special skills can be bought through in-app purchased or hardly earned through gaming.
