A next-gen boxing game
Real Boxing is one of those games able to make you forget that you're playing on a mobile device and not in a PC or a console, mainly because it has a lot of elements traditionally omitted from mobile gaming such as introductory cutscenes and additional minigames and goals. It also features motion captured animations, which is a relief in a time where everything seems doomed to be indie, retro or retro-indie-like.
First off, create your boxer at your whim and take pleasure doing so, because there are a lot of customizing options to make your sweaty, rude and rough boxer as bad ass as you can before jumping over the ring. Although perhaps you may prefer to train first, and here's the second surprise of the day: in order to improve your stats you have to play any of the available minigames (punching ball, skipping...). This can result in you managing your time, you might prefer to train on your daily train trip and be focused on your match while on your comfy couch.
We've already mentioned cutscenes, but once you get into play you'll find 3D graphics awesome. More than awesome, indeed, because they're very dynamic: boxers sweat and bleed and get their faces hurt. Perfect timing puts you into a brief slow-mo window usually precursor to a great KO. KOs can be replayed for your own vanity. In addition, as the title of this review implies, don't forget to dodge and don't forget to clinch. This maneuver, clinching, even though it may seem unfair, it's one of the first learnt in boxing, and it's nice it's finally included in a boxing game.
On the other hand, the expected flaws: you need a Tegra 3 or higher device, you'll appreciate the best device you can get. In fact, this game has been developed for the yet unreleased Tegra 4, so it'll be a rough test for nearly every device on market. There isn't a lite version either, so you'll have to trust us: you'll get for $5 what you'd receive for a much more expensive console game. There are in-app purchases, too, but you can bet you'll prefer to unlock everything thanks to your sweat and skill.

Its hard to find a good boxing game on this system. Almost as hard as it is on PC. Whether it be controls, graphics, or just bad design in general. This game excells at everything and is fun to play from beginning to end for hours at a time.
Kind of repetitive. Career is not randomised and opponents can only get stronger then the app asks for real money to beat your opponents. There is also a bug in blocking mode which shows highlighted blocking but the posture is not. The entrance also gets
