Successful sequel to Anomaly Warzone Earth
If you played Anomaly Warzone Earth when it was launched, this review is unnecessary: it comes to be the same game with better graphics, better gameplay, better sound and better everything.
Otherwise, if you weren't lucky enough at the time and want to start by Korea instead of Irak (where first AWE was located), this is what you'll get: an inverse tower-defense game. Amongst beautiful and zoom-in-able 3D scenery and accompanied by nice radio-like voice acting you will have to plan a route for your convoy to reach checkpoints, get resources and arrive to the goal. Oh, and destroy as many alien machines as you can by the way. Alternative routes, skills, upgrades and convoy formations can, should, must be changed on the go to adapt your squad to new circumstances in a thrilling gameplay far beyond the "sit and watch" usual in defense games. Everything red-laced packed in a game with three difficulty settings, two game modes (history and "art of war" which is somehow a list of challenges) and zero in-app purchases. It works on Android 2.2 or higher and occupies roughly 300 Mb.
We know there isn't any lite, trial or free version of AK, but we are sure this is one of the games absolutely worth their price. Five out of five and bets are open to guess where the third chapter of this saga will take place. Barcelona? Tijuana? Dakar? May we ask for a level editor then? Will we be able to play on the alien side once?
The alien robots are back and this time they’ve got Korea in their sights. It’s your job to lead a squad into fierce fire-fights and fend off the alien invasion. Plan your routes carefully and use new units and powers to turn the tide of war against a horde of new enemy threats.
This isn’t tower defense it’s tower offense!
Flipping the tower defense genre on its head, you play the invaders leading your unit into alien-infested districts. Plan carefully, use your money and powers wisely, and make it through unscathed.
A NEW WAY TO PLAY
Keep an eye on the action from a top-down perspective and use tactile touch controls to assemble your squad, plan your route using the new tactical map and simply execute player powers such as Boost, which speeds up your unit’s offense. Test your leadership abilities in the new ‘Art of War’ trials.
This thrilling portable strategy game comes to life in stunning detail on your device with stunning high-definition visuals and attention to detail. Anomaly Korea delivers an atmospheric soundtrack and full voice acting – this is console gameplay on a portable device.

1. If you encounter a black screen after launching the game, please try to wait 2 minutes (length of the intro movie) for the game to start.
Good game :D Love this, everyone gets a cookie!
But not so great. No more excited about defense. Just, "layan" it.
Man this game is awsome, i live it so much if i bought a tablet i'll buy the Anomaly 2
This is an excellent game, best graphics I have seen for a mobile game. the strategy aspect is really good but its also very challenging as you really have to think hard about planning your route and what vehicles to use. I cant wait to play part 2.
Not playable on Motorola Razr I - loops intro move and doest starts.
Well, there is no towerdefense-type of game as good as this.. Awesome in everything :3 Too short tough, I'd like more levels...
$4 game I can't even play because it won't install. What's up with that? I really want to try this. Will rate fairly if I can actually play the game.
