This is a simple game that allows thousands of choices and outcomes. You control a huge red robot and you have to save the Earth from the Evilish Blue Empire of Bad Robots. Everything is pretty obvious, unless the game rules. Luckily there is a wonderful tutorial before starting a campaign.
Every turn you have to choose among a warfare, hacking or power action. Warfare actions summon new droids to the battleground; hacking try to turn the odds of an ongoing battle in your favor; and power action means attacking (at last!) your foe, either scrambling them, damaging them, microwaving'em or whatever.
Spin the three reels then. The first turns slowly, so you can choose its result. If you get three of a kind, you will get an extra turn in addition to a elite class action (an elite helping droid, steal an enemy robotank, a Judgement Day laser...We're sure you're catching the idea)
We can say that this game is half wits and half chance, and that's why it's so entertaining. The campaign mode, where you look for nodes all over the world, gaining experience points and upgrading your robots is wonderful.
This game is just as Hexage Ltd has used us, if not their best. We can only recommend them to make more games like this with other themes, because it's strange that this idea hadn't been more exploited. What about mages and sorceresses summoning demons and casting lightings and fighting for enchanted places from all over the world? (maybe I moved a little, ahem)
If you run out of energy there's an in-app purchase. In the end, it's a way to help the developer, since you can play a lot without problems, at least until the final stages.
The mix of strategy and luck, plus its colorful and fun graphics make this game very original and, of course, highly recommended.
