G5 is a company with a bunch of management games released, so some users can be surprised about Supermarket Mania, where you have to survive to your new supermarket job replacing products on the shelves, playing as a cashier and cleaning the corridors. Game's quite stressful but entertaining. There's a simple plot that introduces you in the story mode: there we found that you're a cute blonde hired by a strange market company that want to replace all workers by robots. As always, no trace of the union around.
Game's get more complicated as you reach new levels and new challenges. At first, customers are lovely grandmammies, then young and short of time ladies. In the end, the supermarket where you work will receive thieves. Gameplay isn't original, though: it's as one of those games where you're a waiter and have to attend customers assigning them tables and charging before they leave. Graphics are cool and game runs smoothly once you complete the initial downloading. Story mode -with comic strips between stages- and an understandable tutorial are an added value, too.
In conclusion, Supermarket Mania has few things to manage, but a lot of hours of fun instead. This is the trial version and only includes a few levels, so be prepared to upgrade to the paid version through an in-app purchase if you're keen on it. Finally, don't forget that Supermarket Mania® 2 was recently launched.
