For those few of you who don't know yet what a public search engine based Mp3 downloader is, here it goes: it's a simple and easy to use app that allows you to search for a song, download it and, if you want to, set it a your ringtone.

The main flaw is that songs are not always available for free everywhere, so the app looks for them in obscure and remote websites where all that glitters is not gold. Be prepared for broken links, fake songs and right songs with its name unsubtly changed. One thing is that this app supports up to three downloads at the same time, but if your connection is able to bear it is quite another. On the other hand, it's free supported by ads. Nothing that should strike anyone by now.

Music Download strongest point is its mp3 editing options to cut a piece of a song and make it a ringtone and assign it to any contact with just a few taps. It should be said that there just a few editing options, but they're enough to do the job. If you were looking for scratching, looping or mixing options, look elsewhere.

If you don't mind about where those songs come from and haven't already a similar app, give it a go. It's up to you. The amount of permissions it asks for is nearly unexplainable, but that’s quite a different kettle of fish.

This app may not be a panacea, but it works properly as long as your expectations aren't too high. There are at least several similar apps on market, with few if any differences between them. This is as good as any other.
