"Create a hit with your Android"

Reviewed by / Jan 11, 2013

Songify turn your speech into a song by mixing it with instrumentals and automatically editing it.

Well, we don't really know if you'll be able to make a hit with this app. However, we're pretty sure that you'll laugh your a** off.

It works this way: you just need to record a voice clip saying whatever you want. Then, you can "songify" it by selecting an instrumental where your speech will be embedded. There are lots of free popular songs like Bed Intruder, Can't Hug Every Cat, Double Rainbow, Winning... and (many) others paid songs. Once selected, Songify will process the info and automatically edit (it takes like a minute, depending on your voice clip length). Once your clip is songified, be ready to ROLF.

What's more, you can share your creations by signing up Songify Community. You'll find millions of songs made by other users (8 millions only on iOS, and some others on Android). Edit your profile, follow and be followed, start uploading songs and have fun with others. The only catch: UI, it should be enhanced regarding scenery. able.

Songify’s unique songification technology was invented by Smule to turn speech into music and is not the same as Antares Auto-Tune, which does not work on speech.

Reason: We use this to create a unique identifier for each device so we can keep track of the coin balance and songs each user has purchased and re-instate current purchases if he or she deletes the app and re-installs. We are currently evaluating other options for this to see if there is a way to offer the same functionality without requiring this.

We need this permission for the ringtone creation feature.
