Loads of specialty sounds from the Borg, Klingon and Romulans. odd things like view screens, turbolifts, shuttle doors, cargo bay doors, jefferies tube, holodeck, transporter, tractor beams, Heck there is even 9 tricorder sounds. Who does that? We do that's who!
You can opt out of notification ads when you first open the app after install. Press close for no notification ads. If you allow them they will show up on your phone a few times a week.
The opt out was added so people who don't like them can have an option to not have them.
The permissions requested are for the ad network to operate.
None of the permissions can be used in any other way.
If you opt out the permissions are never used.

App not playing all sounds: Depending on your phone the allotted memory can max out and refuse to play more sounds until you close and reopen the app.
Crashes: With quite a few thousand downloads using this code for different soundboards, very few crashes or force closes have happened. Usually this comes down to the phone itself not the app.
Setting sounds to system sounds: If your phone is not allowing you to set these sounds for your system sounds you may have missed a setting that can allow it in your particular OS. Most phones have this set to allow by default

This thing surfs the net on its own and spams my phone with useless crap . ~~ edit, its the same thing, it pulls ads = surfs the net on its own. It should be disabled to begin with.

Used to love this app, but as of yesterday it no longer works. I've unistalled and reinstalled with no success. Say "can not save to memory card" even though I have 14g free. Would give 5 if worked again. Nothing has changed other than me updating yesterd

Easy to use, sounds re good quality, and there's a ton of em. Must for any fan of TNG
