GloveBox is a Ubuntu-style handy side-dock that allow users to quick launch favorite apps.
Ubuntu Touch is almost ready to officially hit some mobile devices. However, if you are Canonical's most-known product fan and want to make your Android look like Ubuntu Touch, you can start with Glovebox: a side-dock which is a replica of Ubuntu Touch and desktop application launcher.
What I liked most of Glovebox is that's highly configurable. You can add up to 8 applications to the dock (more can be added after upgrading to its premium version) and sort them at your whim. In addition, margins to make it show can be adjust as well as vibrate on touch, enable it in landscape mode, add transition effect, sensibility levels, bar opacity and icon on notifications. Actually, it comes with 5 different themes including classic Ubuntu (icon pack not supported yet).
Glovebox brings to Android its multi-tasking philosophy.

My favorite feature of Ubuntu Touch brought to Android. The most surprising thing is that it doesn't require root permission
