nerd alert allows an android user to customize notifications on incoming sms messages. you specify a regular expression and if the body of the sms matches the expression, the notification you specify is executed.
it also has a regex matcher feature to test the regex pattern against a string.
time ranges can be specified so that the alert is only active within certain hours.
notification styles available are:
* vibration via vibrate patterns
* ringer
* status bar
* message forwarding to another phone number
* speaks text message body if bluetooth a2dp or headset is plugged in
vibration is customizable by specifying a comma separated integer string that corresponds to the number of seconds on, then off, then on, then off and so forth.

Recently changed in this version:
added feature to speak text message body if bluetooth a2dp is connected or headset is plugged in.
opens sms application when notification is clicked rather than opening list of matched messaged.
when alert item is clicked, opens up the alert edit view instead of matched messages.

Would prefer it if there was a basic filter option instead of the regular expression filters.
