"Everything is PURPLE, SWAG, SWAG, SWAG!" Rakim Mayers aka ASAP Rocky (stylized as A$AP Rocky) is an American rapper and music video director. Born and raised in the New York City neighborhood Harlem, he is a member of the hip hop collective A$AP Mob. ASAP Rocky is heavily influenced by Pimp C and Bun B with that Texas chopped and screwed style. A$AP stays blowing trees and sipping syrup to get to a turtle pace.
His debut album LongLiveASAP was released on January 15, 2013.
