Homescreen is one of the features that distinguishes Android from other mobile OS. Freewill regarding customization is its most-known added-value feature. Thus, customizable live wallpapers are the pure expression of Android OS.
ADhD Studios has gone a step further though. A live wallpaper was too much 1.0., in other words, too unidirectional. This indie developer has gamificated live wallpapers. Thus, this isn't just a live wallpaper to stare at but to interact with.
Cute Planet is a pink-colored world where you can buy unique houses, add plants and decorations, raise animals and play fun mini games from a social approach. You cannot do any of this for free: all that stuff must be paid with stars you can earn by playing minigames. Well, you can also earn cash by inviting friends or downloading other ADhD Studios apps.
You won't get bored easily: each building comes with a new mini-game. To adopt an animal touch a building and tap the buy button. More than customizing your live wallpaper, I'd say this is like growing, building and playing your live wallpaper.
It's hand-drawn graphics are cute and well-crafted, a little childish and girly though. I haven't noticed any lag but its developer warns that it can run slowly on low-end devices. In brief, a great original live wallpaper concept that we'd like to try with different themes.
