Aiming to take on Snapchat in emerging markets, Facebook brings Flash, a picture and video messaging alternative. Right after you’ve logged in through your Facebook account, you can add contacts who are also using Flash and send them selfie shots and videos. You can write down shorts, add smileys and even face masks in real time, and for those looking to keep their privacy, messages will disappear after your contacts have read them.
Flash isn’t all that difficult to figure out to use and since it works with Facebook, it’s easy to start finding your contacts, and isn’t very heavy at all for those worried about data usage.
Welcome to Snapchat version Facebook, as the social media giant shamelessly copied the messenger’s best features, and don’t expect to find a tutorial here, forcing you to go online and read a FAQ or figure everything out on your own.
