A few Featured Mechanics
Weaving - This is backpedaling in a diagonal direction or in a sharp left/right angle. When receivers try to gain inside or outside leverage on you, weave to stop them.
T-Step Breaks - When the WR makes his move on his route, you will use this to make a "T" shape with your feet when making diagonal breaks.
Quick-Step Breaks - Multiple game simulations to use the popular quick-step technique.
Bail Techniques - Learn and practice coverage using this widely used technique introduced within the last decade.
Pressing - Also known as "bump-n-run" or "shuffle." This is a more physical type of play, where you play up close to the receiver before the snap. You work to jam the receiver at the snap of the ball to not let him off the line -- ultimately throwing off the timing between the receiver and quarterback.
Zone Coverage - Practice picking a WR up in a zone situation
Backpedaling - One of the most important fundamentals for safety's and cornerback. Used to keep a receiver in front you can read his routes and still be in a position to make a play on the ball.
Stance & Come Out - Learn how to stand before snap and then skate backwards or run backwards.
