Fotrack - Pomodoro Timer
by: Fajar Khan • 126
For the person keen on productivity, Fotrack is a Pomodoro timer that helps you keep track of time and take a much-needed break based on Cirillo’s Pomodoro Technique. Once you connect with your Google+ account, you’re able to turn on the timer, which is set to 25 minutes by default. After the pre-set time is up, you’ll have a 5 minute break, before getting right back to work. There’s also a long break option set to 15 minutes.
A solid black and white minimalist design makes for an intuitive app that’s really easy to use. There are also timer options that you can set, all the way down to 0 minutes. Core functionality is also pretty good.
To use the app, I had to connect with my Google+ account, and I didn’t find an alternate way to login. The notification options are rather poor, with no way to see how much time is remaining. Also, the short break doesn’t auto-start.
