Replace your standard Android dialer with this Facebook-integrated version; free voice calls over wi-fi

    7.2
    • Simple to use
    • Free voice calls over wi-fi
    • Easy call blocking
    • Integration with Facebook's database
    • Privacy concerns
    • Not much advantage over the standard dialer

"Hello, it's me/I've thought about us for a long, long time"

    THE VERDICT

Phone calls are still relevant even in the 21st century, and Hello - Caller ID & Blocking is a more than decent attempt from Facebook to modernize them. The idea of making Facebook's information database the center of searching for contacts is something we all already do online, so why not use it for phone calls too? Sure, it's a little like inviting Big Brother to install cameras in your house... but it's also darn useful. Plus, we love the ease of making calls over wi-fi.

    THE PROS

All your friends are already here because all your friends are on Facebook. It's simple to block unwanted calls, and the integration with Messenger is seamless (if that's an app you already use frequently).

    THE CONS

It's yet another part of your life integrated with Facebook, if that's something that concerns you re: privacy. There are also some early bugs being reported while the app is still new; expect those to be ironed out in the coming weeks. There might not be enough of a clear advantage here for most people to give up the standard Android dialer, either.

Just integrate this into the base messenger app Add caller ID, contacts, and call log to the messenger app we all know and love People will have one place for Facebook/Cellular messages and calls you will get more use out of the app and beat people like line. Because you have the power to take over and make messenger the go to app for all of your communication/social needs. Lol think about the possibilities Facebook it's not hard just put in time make it good.
