Inkwire provides screen sharing and assist tools for power users

    7.4
    • Surprisingly easy to set-up and start using
    • Straightforward design
    • Lightweight
    • Not a lot of advanced options
    • Sporadic connection issues
    • Runs on a newer device

    "Share your screen"

    THE VERDICT

One of the things I personally love Windows is how easy it is to set-up remote computer support. Inkwire provides tools for mobile users to get up and running in giving a hand to another user you know, like a friend or family member. The main screen includes two features: share your screen with another user, or view a shared Android. If you share you’ll screen, you’ll need to give a 12 digit access code to another user. If you want to view a screen, just enter the same code, and you’re up and running.

    THE PROS

How easy is Inkwire to set-up? All you’ll need is just an access code, which it generates and accepts rather quickly. The design is also pretty straightforward. On my device, this app weighed under 10 MB

    THE CONS

Inkwire does make it easy to set-up but it lacks advanced screen sharing options, like specific permissions for camera viewing, passwords, etc. There are sporadic connection issues. You’ll also need Android Lollipop and above to run.

Once connected, you can optionally start a voice chat, and draw on their screen to guide them through their issue.
