A photo app which solves math problems automatically

    • Excellent concept
    • Shows much promise
    • Good UI
    • No handwriting
    • No complex operations

Do you struggle with math problems? Do you wish you could solve them faster? PhotoMath is an incredibly helpful application for those who are too lazy to sit and solve simple math operations. The app is based on the following hypothesis: what if we could automatically solve math problems by pointing the phone camera at them?

So it works this way: point your camera at a math problem and wait to see the result almost instantly. But that's not the only thing it does: the app also shows the explanation as to how to get there, so it's less cheating and more "learning", don't you think?

After the updates, we have to say that both design and usability are excellent and PhotoMath works smoothly and quickly. Plus, if you need extra help, the app presents a tutorial that features the basic steps on how to use the app.

It doesn't support handwriting or complex operations, so that's what's lacking at the moment. Anyway, we would totally recommend it for at least trying it out a few times.
