On the Directory tab, you can search for other Winnie users nearby using a real-world map and easily connect with them.

Winnie provides a refreshingly polished, clean, and well-designed UI, providing basic social networking options that will let you start posting and commenting on what others have to say. You’ll also find that this app has a healthy community of active users, plus you can now post anonymously.

You won’t find much to say against Winnie, although power social beasts may find the app’s social networking features too limited.

Boy, Girl, Other? Come on let's get real. Modern families... What's modern about what you're presenting? The ideas behind this app were solid, but unfortunately, I'll be deleting it.

great idea... still needs some work. Because we are not in a major metro area, I didn't expect anything local to be on the app. I was surprised that there were actually local parks listed, although not all of them. The lists from the categories were great, just incomplete. Look forward to improvements and more places to be added!

I think yelp is better. For restaurants, it didn't even list the ones nearby with play areas. And it listed parks 30 minutes away, not the city parks near us. Its a cool idea though - hopefully they can make it better soon.

It is ok. Great idea though! I wish there was a section where local parents could suggest places to add to the near me sections. It would also be great if you could find out local happenings that are kid friendly like festivals, parades, concerts, and other events.
