Poor Tipler has a sad life. He’s used to being cut down by saws, beaten to a pulp by spinning fans, and falling to a terrible, terrible death. In 8-BIT WATERSLIDE for the Android and iOS, you’re tasked with helping him lead a safe and relatively quiet existence as he hurdles down a deadly waterslide. You’ll tap and hold on the left side of the screen to have Tipler duck, tap and hold on the right side to jump, and tap on the left in the air to break through platforms. How far can you keep Tipler alive?
I’m enjoying the funky soundtrack that’ll definitely keep you motivated as you play, as well as the intuitive two-finger controls, as well as the polished pixel art graphics, and the humorous initial gameplay. Yet, not everything is perfect in this deadly waterslide game.
You’ll have to get used to the fullscreen ads that randomly appear on-screen without any warning, as well as the expensive power-ups that make the game feel like a complete grind, and the lack of additional game modes. Only play 8-BIT WATERSLIDE in short bursts to avoid quick app burnout.

Ever wanted to torture a small, helpless computer game character? Well now you can in 8-BIT WATERSLIDE!
Take control of a screaming coward, TIPLER as he hurtles along this awesome pixel death slide.
But before his gruesome demise… Why not set him on fire? Kick him in the nuts? shove fruit up his butt or shower him in acid?
It's pure, wholesome fun for the whole family!
Still not convinced you need this game?

Yep, that's right! This game isn't just genre bustingly original, it's also super highbrow and intellectual.
8-BIT WATERSLIDE is the debut game of animation duo tea&cheese in collaboration with indie-game behemoth, Nicoll Hunt, creator of FIST OF AWESOME.
