    "The Legacy"

Blackwell 1: Legacy is an adventure game featuring an endearing character named Rosa Blackwell, who has just discovered she can talk to the dead.

Help her and Joey Mallone offer their services to the dead and follow the story to see where it leads. The storyline is undoubtedly captivating and the gameplay is really interactive and fun to play: you have different choices to carry on and your decisions will directly affect your future, so make sure to choose wisely.

Graphics are excellent and controls work smoothly as well, so we have no complaints whatsoever.

WADJET EYE GAMES LLC is the developer of Blackwell 1: Legacy, the first installment in a worthy series, a well-crafted and immersive game which we totally recommend.

    Description

The first game in Wadjet Eye's Blackwell mystery adventure series.

Rosa Blackwell's humdrum life is turned upside-down when she discovers she is a medium with the power to talk to the dead.

With the aid of the wise-cracking Joey Mallone, the family spirit guide, she sets out on a quest to lay to rest the ghosts of New York City.

But is Joey as well-intentioned as he claims? And why is her family bonded to him, generation after generation?

"The Blackwell Legacy" is the first in the critically acclaimed Blackwell series. It is followed by "Blackwell 2: Unbound" (available now!), "Blackwell 3: Convergence" (available now!), "Blackwell 4: Deception" (coming soon) and "Blackwell 5: Epiphany" (coming soon)

Just Adventure - "It leaves most independently developed games for dead." - A-/B+
Strategy Informer - "If this were a TV show, one watch of this and any TV network would commission a full series."
Adventure Gamers - "By the end of the game, [Rosangela Blackwell] is a main character you want to spend more time with." 4.5/5
Gameboomers - "An unusually compelling psychological study for an independent game to undertake."
    Gamezebo - "A thought-provoking and detailed plot."

Ok game but I couldn't really get into the ghost story. I was happy it didn't take too long to complete the game.

Ok, so I finished the game...way to soon. This game is so short it's more like an episode. I liked the game but it was not worth $4, and I'm rethinking my decision to buy the other Blackwell games. You should put them all together in one package ($8-10 would be reasonable for 1-3, or all 5 for $15). Vs Syberia, Broken Sword, machinarium, and other similar games with better grapics and more content, this one left me feeling cheated on price.

Nice, short game with an intriguing premise. Some puzzles are difficult only due to the interface while the graphics are too old school for my taste

Classic point and click. Good time, thanks! I love the other episodes too.

Voice acting: superb. ----- Animation: good ----- Screen ratio is not adjusted for phone so the picture is rather small when playing on a phone. ----- CON: MUSIC IS DROWNING THE SPEECH. No volume?? ----- Not much gameplay, mostly a few clicks and then tons of dialogue (which is of good quality, mind you). ----- If you accidentally click on the phone's home screen button you will have to go through
