uberLines's review

A fun, fast-paced reflexes game for quick minds

    • Excellent design and graphics
    • Easy to learn
    • Levels & endless mode
    • Not really innovative

    "Changing Colors"

If you thought you were already a master of reflexes, then think again: you haven't tried uberLines yet. uberLines is a new reaction game whose graphics are as minimalist as the game is complex. From the very first level, you'll surely struggle to advance: will you be able to reach the top of the screen safe and sound?

The gameplay consists of climbing smoothly by changing color every time a new color shape is near. The trick is simple enough: hold the screen in order to change the triangle's color and release your finger to stop. The problem, as you may imagine, is that the shapes appear quite frequently, sooner than you expect and before you have time to react.

Every new level is harder than the previous one, but you can also choose to play 'Endless' mode, where the level of challenge is kind of crazy.

The game is well-designed and we love that every time you play, you get a whole new design, so you never know what to expect. And uberLines features our favorite kind of controls: incredibly easy to learn but impossible to master.

If we had to complain about something, we'd say that we were pretty bothered by the video ads, which hinder the gameplay experience and appear way too often.

That aside, uberLines is an effective entertainment that has potential to become the typical game you can't wait to share with friends because of its frustrating effects. Who'll win the reaction battle?
