Create Books From TXTs + SMS's review

Save your SMSs in a readable and lovely way

    • Great and appreciated idea
    • Easy and fast interface
    • Few yet accurate editing options
    • Requires Android 4.0 or higher
    • If it converted other messaging services, it would be a panacea

"Make a book made of messages"

The first this app will do is to bring you back memories about when you had to make painful choices regarding which SMSs should be deleted to allow new incoming ones in your old dumbphone. Fortunately technology -and data plans- evolved and you don't have to delete them anymore. Therefore, it's time to make a step forward and do something useful about those messages. A book, for example.

That's what this app does. Select any SMS and MMS conversation and you'll be able to choose the overall design of your "texted" book. Don't forget to suit the names if your contact list doesn't: thus "Mark friend of Ashley" can be changed for just "Mark", or Father for Daddy. Lastly, once you have chosen among a few readability options (storybook option, albeit perhaps not suited for too long conversations, adds some sauce to the text), select a title and remove unwanted messages or enclose the conversation within a time range. User interface is pretty fast, so your second txt book can be ready in a minute or so.

Once you have your "book" you can export it in a digital format and, at your whim, print it, pics included. It's original and results are better than what you would expect thanks to a looked after design. Therefore, look at your precious SMSs and think how wonderful would be to have your first messages to your boy or girlfriend, or that unforgettable conversation when your team won the finals, printed or eternally saved.

I LOVE this concept, but the need to have to do very small date ranges to generate a file small enough is a huge bummer. I wish there was a workaround to that where it cam be uploaded in another way than email or done online somehow.

Don't waste your time, effort or money with this app! I have a Nexus 5x phone for the purposes of this review. I love the concept of this app and really wanted it to work, however, my experience was everything but pleasant. None of the photos from the sender would upload and after contacting customer support none of their suggestions worked. I still went forward aside from that and purchased the pdf of the text message and the file will not open through the apps website to print a book, it will not open in Google drive, it will not open period! I simply wasted my money for a file that takes up space on my phone!

Scam app, do not pay them. It does not work. I paid $20 to get a PDF emailed and saved to my phone. However the app did neither. Interface is bad and it doesn't work. Now i need to figure out how to get my money back.

Worked perfect for me. I'd suggest the unlimited as I made a typo in my first try and it gave me the chance to make the edit. Gave my book as a first anniversary present which is paper. Clever gift I must say. Customer service helped remind me that my phone saves a copy to my memory card when the PDF was too big to email. Just plugged my phone in and downloaded it. Easy.

Exactly what I wanted. Ended up having them bind my book too...couldn't be happier and made a really great gift! The wife loved it ;-)

I have the galaxy s7 active. I need my text messages printed for custody court. This app doesn't work with my phone apparently. It doesn't do 95% of my outbox appears to do all the received but nearly none of the sent. Hopefully I can get my 10 bucks back
