Kanji Quiz

Kanji Quiz is an application that helps you reviewing what you learned with the Dr Heisig - Remembering The Kanji Book!!!!! Please keep it in mind before writing a bad comment because you can't find a classic association "kanji - meaning".

Test your skill with 4 different kind of quizzes! Kanji Quiz supports Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji and Dictionary Tests. Again... the Kanji mode is based on Dr Heisig - Remembering the Kanji. Onyomi and kunyomi tests are supported too.

Latest version allow to search kanjis by primitives!

Every kanji referes to the 4th edition of the book.

This is the best app for James Heisig's "Remembering the Kanji" method users on the whole Play store! IT'S DEFINITELY WORTH IT TO BUY AN AD FREE VERSION - KANJI QUIZ GOLD! I highly recommend doing that if you are a fan of RTK. Besides that, the author of the app is extremely helpful, and fixes reported problems, which isn't always the case with many other developers out there! So it's a good thing to show some appreciation! :) As for the app functionalities: the order of signs is the same as in the book, which makes it a handy tool for reviewing and saves a lot of time compared with making your own flashcards. The space on which you can hand write the kanji during the review helps with evaluating your actual ability to recreate them, and the app doesn't include any silly algorithm which would tell you if you got the sign right or not - you check it by yourself. Nice and clean if you ask me, because the apps with algorithms usually get them wrong, which only frustrates the user. Great thing for learning during the commute etc.. It's also well made and never crashes or anything like that. 5/5 for me!

Remembering the Kanji is probably one of the most innovative and effective methods for remembering kanji. This app does a great job retaining the information found in the book, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anybody who's diving into the book. The multiple choice answers are a great way for doing tests, but it gets even better with the handwritten kanji tests. It does need an update to support the 6th edition of the book, but it's still my chosen method of practice.

Good idea but the quizzes don't fully fit on my screen. Uninstalling.

I can't even see all the multiple choice options, also answer disappears. Little too quickly, this would be 5 stars for me if font wasnt so huge!

The multiple choice font is so huge I can't even see the third option....and I hate having to choose the wrong answer intentionally just to move onto the next question
