The GEOS School Safety App integrates with a school's GEOS School Safety emergency response coordination and alerting service.
Users can send an alarm, which is then received by the GEOS School Safety Response Center. The response center then validates and coordinates the required response with local authorities and school administrators.
Once an alarm is activated, a VOIP channel is opened with the response center to facilitate 2-way communication between the user and the response center.
Further, a 2-way chat messaging feature is also available if voice communication is not possible.
GEOS is the world's first commercial global Alerting Post for Satellite Emergency Notification Devices (S.E.N.D).
