See what any planet will look like through ANY telescope!

Need help picking your first telescope? Not sure what it's capable of? Why not try before you buy?!

After a series of precise mathmatical calculations, Telescope Simulator will show exactly what any planet will look like through ANY telescope!!

You can even simulate different barlow lenses or eyepieces on your currect telescope to see what it's capable of!

Select from over 50 popular telescopes from Orion, Celestron and Meade to see what they are capable of!

If your telescope is not on the list, simply tap the 'Custom' button and enter its aperture and focal length and the Telescope Simulator will do the rest!

Telescope Simulator will also simulate all the negative effects of real telescopes so you know exactly what you are buying!

Just like with a real telescope, if you magnify a scope beyond its capabilities your image will get blurry and dim.

For added effect, there is an optional 'Seeing' toggle button that factors in bad atmospheric conditions.

You can even select the Hubble as your telescope just to compare!

I've bought this app but as I open it suddenly close. I've sent an email to developers days ago but they have not responded. I want my money back.

Perfect for comparing the many different telescopes out there. Dropped a star (no pun) because the app kept freezing on my Galaxy 4. Also would be nice for more varieties of scopes like refractors.

As an observational amateur astronomer for 50 years this app needs some work if it is to accurately depict the differences among telescopes. The main function of a telescope is to amplify light--not to magnify. What this app fails to do is to depict how much brighter objects will be larger telescope-- especially extended deep sky objects. A telescope having an objective mirror lens twice the siz

Jan 05, 2014  |  "Great" learn about relationship between eyepieces and magnification and to set expectations about scope capabilities. UI could be better. Should default to number pad for value entry. Should provide up down buttons to change values for Barlow and eyepiece for an interactive experience.
