A useful way to reduce eye strain

    • Filter at launch
    • It works
    • Nice sliding scale
    • Blocked native settings
    • Intrusive ads

"Take The Pressure Off Of Your Eyes"

Are you dealing with eye strain at night looking at your screen? Bluelight Filter for Eye Care is designed to take some of the strain out of your vision. Choose between five different filters and customize how you want the filter to manage your screen brightness. If you are dealing with eye strain or want to fall asleep better at night, this app may be for you.

Being able to have the filter launch on start up makes adjusting for your screen a cinch. After a few days of using it eye strain really was reduced. The sliding scale makes it easy for you to decide how much brightness you do or don't need.

Native screen settings could not be accessed while Bluelight was active. The ads are intrusive and interrupt the experience.

The notification menu and the status bar are not getting filtered on android oreo. Please do something about it. Otherwise I have been using the app for many years now. Can't do without it. Hence, facing this problem after the android update.

This was by far my preferred filter until Android 8.0 Oreo — the notification drawer is no longer filtered

Android 8.0 (Oreo) notification bar does not get filtered. Therefore when you scroll down the notification bar it's full brightness. This is a huge disadvantage that did not exist in the previous versions. Hopefully they will be a fix soon since this was the best app out there until this. For myself that suffer from migraines, this worked flawlessly but not, it makes things worse. Please fix soon.
