    "Your Heart Rate On-The-Go"

    THE VERDICT

Runtastic Heart Rate Monitor turns your mobile device into a heart rate monitor. The app uses your smartphone's camera flash to measure your heart rate. There is a certain convenience to not needing a second device to complete these measurements.

    THE PROS

Are you looking for your runtastic heart rate? You can find it here. Handy graphs allow you to visually track your heart rate depending on your level of activity. Being able to share your results on social media increases reusability. The menu is designed well and is easily navigable.

    THE CONS

You can only take up to three measurements a day with the free version. It failed to detect quite a few times when trying to measure heart rate. It doesn't support Google Fit integration with the free version. The ads are intrusive.

    Description

Turn your smartphone into your personal HEART RATE MONITOR - yep, that’s possible!

Measure your heart rate with your heart monitor app when you wake up or after your training session. Your smartphone will do the job and let you know your heart rate in an instant. Unbelievable heart checking app, right? Just try it out!

    APP FEATURES & BENEFITS:
Measure your heart rate with your smartphone camera! Yup, your camera is the heart monitor app.
Graphs illustrate your pulse rate measurement that way you can monitor your heart over time right in your heart health app.
Different pulse rate measurement types: resting HR, pre- & post-workout HR, maximum HR
Upload your results after you measure your heartbeat to Runtastic.com, compare and analyze your heartbeat measurements by day, week or year
Share your heart beat rate app measurements on social media like Facebook, Google+ & Twitter or via email. Maybe you’ll get your friends to use this great heart health app, too.

WARNING: This is not a medical product.
If knowing your pulse rate is critical to your health, you need to have your pulse taken by a medical professional. Heart Rate Monitor is not intended to diagnose, prevent or treat any condition, or to be a substitute for professional medical care. Measurements and statistics are intended for informational and educational purposes only, to support general health and wellness. The Heart Rate Monitor app has not been tested with individuals with health conditions and has not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

EASY TO USE – HOW TO USE THE HEART MONITOR APP TO MEASURE YOUR HEART RATE
Place and lightly hold your (index) finger against the back camera lens and flashlight. It will measure your heart beat rate in an instant.
Do not press too hard when you measure your heart rate, otherwise blood circulation will be altered and the results in your heart health app could be affected
When using a smartphone or tablet without a LED flashlight, be sure to take the pulse rate measurement in a well-lit area (bright daylight works best)
Remain calm and try not to move too much during the measurement, as this can compromise the heart beat rate app accuracy
Do not measure with cold fingers when the blood circulation is poor, you want to monitor your heartbeat when your fingers are warm

    EFFICIENT ANALYSIS
Your resting heart rate varies depending on your age and training level. A very fit and athletic person has a lower resting HR than someone who’s hardly active. Eager to know if your fitness level has improved? Measure your heart rate with this heart checking app on a regular basis and monitor the progress of your resting heart rate. The best time to measure your resting heart rate is to take your pulse rate measurement right when you wake up in the morning.

How convenient is having a heart rate beat app right in your smartphone? Pretty awesome, huh? You can get your heart rate data in an instant without having to strap on a heart rate monitor and waiting for it to track your heart beat rate. This app is the perfect pulse rate monitor for beginners to advanced athletes. And we all know that if a pulse rate monitor is complicated, we probably won’t ever use it.
Download the Runtastic Heart Rate App today, check your pulse rate regularly and show your friends how cool & calm you remain even when in a seemingly stressful situation! Or, use your this heart checking app to sneak a peek at your heart beat when you’re around your crush – got the jitters?
