Sleep as Android is both a smart alarm and a sleep tracker

    • Smart alarm
    • Ease of use
    • Design
    • Accuracy depends on the device (better on high-end devices)
    • It should include more advise

    "Sleep like a baby"

Either if you have insomnia or you are concerned about having a restful and healthy sleep, Urbandroid Team's Sleep as Android is the app you should try next. It's basically an app that take advantage of the microphone and motion sensor of your mobile device to track how well you sleep.

You only need to place your smartphone close to you - let's say under your pillow or on your night stand - while sleeping. Sleep as Android will process your movement and noise to determine your sleeping phases. That way you can have data on how deep and restful is your sleep and take measures about it. Notice the advise delivered by the app and keep it up with it to have more reliable historical data.

Sleep as Android isn't only a tracker though. It includes a smart alarm that will wake you up in the perfect moment. You only need to set the desired waking up time and it will sound a few minutes before, just when you are in the lightest phase of your sleep. That way you will feel well-rested and ready to take the reigns of your working day.

The accuracy of the app depends on the devices' built-in sensors. Still, the app concept is awesome and the design and usability unbeatable.

Didn't like the updates read the reviews and here to offer some help. 1. To get back to the old color scheme go to settings miscellaneous and under the me select night owl. 2. To get 15 minute naps back when you go to the 3 lines hold nap down for 3 seconds then select 15 minutes. 3. To get rid of the analog clock go to settings miscellaneous 8 more and unchecked analog picker 4. To enable text to speech go to settings miscellaneous then check the box Can help with the black icon, nor the wearable but see if the miscellaneous portion needs some fiddling with. Like the app but liked it better when they responded to questions or concerns
