Weak sauce to say the least. Talk about a bait and switch. Essentially you are locked out of features (charts) until you pony up the money. Why would I trial a product that has none of the features you show? I love how all your demo pics say included with in app purchase. Dont even bother to show that on a free version. Waste of a download. From what I can access- I have found 3 lakes in CO with actual sonar maps and they are not even close to the Fish n Map topo maps. For example Lake Granby in CO. Where are Gassaway Ridge, Nortons humps, and Inspiration rigde to name a few? They sure as heck are not shown in the trial app. If you cannot show me exactly what the charts are going to be when I make a purchase then why even bother. Poor quality maps from what I can see. I will not be paying for the subscription as google maps is more useful. Buy a deeper or sonar you can create your own maps with. At least you'll get the lakes you want and have super accurate batymetric maps. Maybe if the trial showed me the detail you see on the Navionics website I would have given a better review. From what I can see spend your money on a decent sonar and make your own maps. Other states may be diffrent, but in CO this app is almost useless.

This is one of many navigation tools I use. Like myself and others it is not perfect but it has become my clear favorite. One day it could use AIS, maybe over the internet... Recommended for sailors - yes!

Not impressed. Most of us can afford a Plotter for our vessels. Many of us know that Rast are scan charts and enc's can be downloaded for free from government sites in the interest of promoting safety. Not inclined to do a $49.00 download for charts. Aside from that not a bad app, and not disappointing. Until this app gets out from under the greed factor I'll continue to use the free one that has even more features.
