    THE VERDICT

For those who use mass transit frequently, this will be one of the most used apps on your phone.

    THE PROS

The ability to use the app to find out when your train will get to the gate is helpful. You can also buy tickets while on the go, eliminating the need to stand in line. If you aren't sure where you are going, the app can also help with that. Finally, the app integrates well with Apple Watch so that you don't even have to use your phone.

    THE CONS

Like with any other app that monitors transport, there are going to be times when it just doesn't get it right. It can also eat away at battery.

Widgets are too limiting. I want widgets for journeys between three stations, but this app only allows between two stations.

Battery killer and failed to inform me that part of my route was closed. Continued to show services which had been cancelled.

Used to use this app everyday, but it hasn't worked for over a month now, despite reinstalling, it crashes every time upon opening

This app is not intuitive. As a user, I want to be able to find a journey - which I can do easily. Then I want to make it 'my journey' to be able to get to it easily at any time. As far as I can make out. I can only 'pin' a journey once it's started. If there's another way of doing it, I can't find it. Therefore, it's really frustrating.

Surprisingly useful. Live updates seem to show changes as soon as the real boards in the station. Some UI niggles, but nothing awful. Considering how hard it is to get app design right, and considering they are a long way from being a software company, I'm gobsmacked by how well NRE have done this. Definitely recommended!
