    Offi - Journey Planner's review

Offi brings maps, and live transportation info to your device so you can get around easier

    7.4
    • Supports lower-end devices
    • Very lightweight
    • Detailed route maps
    • Very few US cities
    • No alternate route planner

"View live public transport info in real-time"

    THE VERDICT

Aiming to be your all-in-one public transportation app, Offi - Journey Planner brings your city’s map and transportation system with live departure times to make sure you know when the next transport is leaving, how far away it is and its estimate time of arrival, nearby stations so you can get around easier, and a portable trip planner. Offi uses the data from official transportation timetables and network data to ensure its accuracy.

    THE PROS

Offi supports older devices running older operating systems. Interactive route maps are fairly detailed, and it’s also nice to know how far your next bus or train is from where you are. It weighs only 1.1MB, fairly lightweight and a quick install.

    THE CONS

You’ll have to search for alternate transportation to your destination if you bus or train is delayed, which is inconvenient especially if you’re visiting a new city and don’t know how to get around. Only two U.S. cities are currently supported, but there are a lot of European cities.

Exceptionally useful navigation app. I've used in Berlin for years. Customizable and includes S-Bahn, U-Bahn, bus and regional train.

Actually a very good app, but it crashes very often when the data connection speed is low.

The widget(aka the most useful feature) broke like 2 updates ago. Doesent refresh departure times anymore and is suddenly unable to resolve the location, no matter what permissions and power saving profiles you assign to it. Would you mind fixing the issue please?
