    THE VERDICT

The SBB Mobile app lets you check Switzerland's train schedule. You can check stations, look at time tables, and even purchase tickets for up to eight people at a time. The app even has a take me home feature, which uses GPS to show you the quickest train route home including times, stations, and switches.

    THE PROS

The app gives you the ability to purchase tickets and check schedules.

    THE CONS

The app sometimes has glitches with purchasing tickets.

Updated to swiss pass login-only WITHOUT notification in advance, so I was not able to buy a ticket and had to miss my train to go and buy one in the ticket office. Now, after creating my swiss pass login and verifying it by email code, I cannot log in the app! No exception/error thrown, just can not log in. Great customer service, SBB.

Shows current time routes as past ones and doesn't let to purchase tickets. Can't use the app if you are in a hurry. Migration to Swiss ID was done quite badly.

It was one of Europes finest train ticket apps. Now trying to force the swisspass upon everybody, making it impossible for occasional users to buy tickets and even for swisspass owners incredible painful to use. Well done sbb for an absolute disastrous update.
