"Another guide for medical professionals to consult"

    THE VERDICT

Of the many medication directories that exist, this is one of the most comprehensive. iPharmacy is an interesting informative guide for all those who tend to consult this type of information, or for those who use it as a work resource. It's very thorough in regards to the extent of the information provided, and offers extra tools that will prove to be quite interesting.

    THE PROS

iPharmacy doesn't have a great design, but it's pretty clear and accessible. The medication database is also available offline, given that the download is saved to the memory of your phone or SD card. The amount of medication included with the app is extensive, and we'd have to add other plus points such as the advice system, nearby drug store locations, tablet identification, a price comparison tool, and health advice.

    THE CONS

The database takes up a lot of RAM. Also, if you don't already have a account profile, you'll have to create one as it's a minimum requirement for accessing the medication database. The design is pretty basic, which may hurt the success of this app as it needs to compete against many other apps that provide a similar service.
