Power to the individuals: Pandora's a free music service that allows you to create up to 100 personalized radio stations you may access from both desktop and mobile platforms. Instead of having to create a few playlists picking up one by one songs - which can end up being an annoying task - Pandora makes it way easier.
You only have to type artist, genre or song and "like" it to add it to your own station. A bunch of related songs will be added to it automatically. Keep adding songs, artists and genres - a good way to do it is picking "similar artists" suggestions - and your radio station will evolve with every new "like", getting richer and best matching your musical taste.
Do you get the difference between Pandora and other music streaming services? Pandora requires less previous musical knowledge from the user and generate sshuffled personalized playlists effortless.
There's more.
Apart from creating stations from artists or tracks, you can tell your station when you are tired of a song, helping it that way getting smarter. Likewise, when any song is being played, a song's sheet with detailed info about the artist, the album and the song is displayed.
Of course, there's a social layer: you can connect your Pandora account to Facebook in order to share and discover new music with/from your loved ones.
Pandora is set in an intuitive and user-friendly interface. Although it falls short on design - which is certainly quite sober -, all main features are within hand reach.
It's a pity that it's still not available Worldwide... Pandora is a must-have app.
