Jefferson Public Radio (JPR) is a listener-supported public radio network dedicated to providing creative and thought-provoking programming for a wide variety of tastes.
In addition to national/regional news feeds and exclusive live in-studio performances, all three of JPR's radio formats are available to stream via this app.
The Rhythm & News Service is for listeners with diverse and exlectic tastes. Though our music format can be loosely called "Triple-A," it's much more than just singer/songwriters. We explore blues, jazz, folk, and world music. We include indie pop and rock, alt.country, and many other artists who typically fall under the radar. And, we pair all of that great music with NPR and regional news and entertainment shows.
The Classics & News Service presents classical music throughout each day that is both accessible and entertaining. We set aside our Saturday mornings for a weekly broadcast of opera, and we broadcast the excellent news from NPR and our own regional staff.
The News & Information Service delivers a 24-hour stream of insightful and informative news and information programming from NPR, the BBC, and numerous other independent program producers who provide a unique perspective on the day's news.
Jefferson Public Radio is a service of Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon.
