"Welcome To The New York Times Newsroom"

    THE VERDICT

The NYTimes - Latest News app brings the power of the New York Times website to your mobile device. It has numerous features that allow you to access breaking news from anywhere at anytime.

    THE PROS

The navigation options are intuitive and designed well. The pages look good and load up quickly. Twilight mode means you can go easier on your eyes in low light. A couple of nifty widgets means the news is at your fingertips

    THE CONS

The NYTimes app still shows you ads even after you've become a paid subscriber. The app needs to differentiate between online and offline viewing for certain articles. You'll still find a greater quantity of articles on the website.

I can't seem to find the Cooking section and saved recipes in the app. Perhaps a stand alone app for this?
