Taking advantage of iOS 8, WSJ is one of the best news apps around

    • Handoff integrated well
    • Beautiful design
    • Great multimedia experience
    • Disruptive ads
    • Pricey

    "News On All Your Devices"

One of the first apps to hit Apple's store, The Wall Street Journal has recently been revamped for iOS 8. Incorporating Handoff, this really is a revolutionary news app that lets you switch fluidly between devices.

With Handoff, you can start reading on an iPhone and continue where you left off on another, like a desktop PC. The design is crisp and clean, with text at eye-piercing resolution. There are beautiful photo slideshows and full-screen video.

The ads can get in the way, and latest news doesn't tell you when articles have been posted. The service is very pricey too, and you'll have to sign up to a monthly subscription.
