    ProCapture's review

ProCapture brings you lots of photo features within reach

    • Ease of use
    • Shooting modes
    • Lots of options within reach
    • High resolution
    • Can't switch between photo/video

    "Perfect replacement for stock camera"

Pro version removes output resolution restrictions and includes the "unlock" feature.

ProCapture isn't an app to apply filters, effects or edit pictures. It's an app that makes it simpler and adds features to the built-in camera. Actually it claims to be the perfect replacement for the default camera of your device.

First off, ProCapture is divided in two parts: left and right frame. Right frame just includes the trigger, a button for switching front/rear camera, launch the gallery or settings; and finally a thumbnail preview to see the last photo we took. From left menu you can select shooting mode (normal, timer, burst, panorama...), launch the gallery, enable/disable location, white balance (auto, daylight, cloudy...), exposure (from -2.0 to +1.5) and finally settings. In settings you can enable/disable histogram, composition, picture size and picture quality.

Main flaw: it doesn't allow you to switch between photo/video mode (just pictures). Anyway, it's still an excellent replacement for stock camera. Highly recommendable.

    Panorama mode.
    Wide Shot mode.

Camera composition aids: grid and Fibonacci spiral.
    Real-time on-screen histogram.

One of the first pro feature camera apps on the market. Originally purchased in 2011, it's still a must have in my app line up. (To the developer. Please consider adding a "one second" option in the timer function for a quicker succession with taking photos when using the timer as a means of averting camera shake when taking exposaking. )

After the update the rotation is always wrong and I have to manually correct every vertical picture. Can I have the old version?

The best camera app after Samsung phone camera. After testing so many available cameras apps the Pro Capture app was the best one. Very accurate exposures and great focusing. And the HDR really works. Definitely, i am recommending this app.

The best camera in the app store. I've tried them all and Fv5 was the one I settled on, it's a little glitchy but it suited my need. Then I found this app, perfect, never crashes, fast, no focusing issues, nice image quality, easy to preview images after a shoot. I like an app that opens quickly, has touch to focus/shoot, torch flash mode and preview after shot that doesn't take an eternity to load the preview, this app does that all perfectly. I'm on a Samsung Note 4 using stock marshmallow 6.01
