USB Photo Viewer

Formerly known as Nexus Photo Viewer, USB Media Viewer allows you to view the JPEG and RAW photos from a USB flash drive or SD card your Nexus, Pixel or other Android 4.0+ devices with USB Host support.

    Requires the following hardware:
    1) A USB OTG Cable (Cost approximately $1-10 USD on Amazon)
    2) A USB Flash Drive or USB SD Card Reader and SD Card. See screenshots for hardware examples.

    Technical Notes:

-The Nexus 4 does not support OTG/USB Host and can not be supported.
-Hard Drives.  It is strongly recommended that you use external power when connecting a hard drive to a tablet.  Please see the troubleshooting guide on my web site for more information.  Do not connect an unpowered hard drive to a phone!

Allowed me to view my photos from an SD card (using a card reader and USB OTG lead) on my Nexus 9 tablet, which doesn't have an SD slot. I will now purchase the USB Media Viewer app to get all the functions, as I know that it will work.

Finally, a file reader that simply does what it says without complication. Enables the photographer to see the sharpness and composition of images on a 10 inch screen rather than the LCD back of the camera. It also reads SD and compact flash files including the new C2 fast compact flash card.Go to cables and cheap card readers are easy to find. Thanks!!!

Doesn't work, just a trick to get you to pay for a different app
