    The official Fairfax County government Android app connects you with key information and services for Virginia's most populous and thriving county with more than 1 million people located outside of Washington, DC. This version of our app features the following features:

    Contact Us
    One-touch calling of our main 703-FAIRFAX phone number, critical emergency phone numbers, libraries, parks, courts and by department/program.

    Using mobile devices before, during and after emergencies has become critical. Our new mobile emergency homepage is your optimized resource for the latest updates about major incidents or weather events that includes text/email alerts, social media updates, emergency RSS news feed, important phone numbers, seasonal preparedness information, recovery resources, mobile weather forecast, and links to key county, state and federal emergency agencies.

    A collection of convenient mobile services are provided by the county agencies.
    • New Services available for citizens to do business with the county - Schedule, modify or cancel inspections for building permits. File a complaint concerning fire, health, zoning, property maintenance or land use/construction code violations; or search a complaint on a property.
    • Search Human Services Resource Guide for community and government resources.
    • Search land development records.
    • Search for child care providers that have a valid County permit or State license on the date the search is generated.
    • Use your local library with the online catalog, access your library account, search online resources, and find location and hours of any branch. Apply for a library card and check out the calendar of library events.

    Social Media
    Links to the mobile versions of all official county government social media sites on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and podcasts on iTunes. Like us, follow us, watch a video, view pictures or listen to podcasts on iTunes through our coordinated social media efforts.

    In time for Election Day on Nov. 6, you can now:
    • Verify you are registered to vote.
    • Find your polling place by entering your home address. Results will show a map of the location and driving directions.
