QVD client Beta

This is the QVD client for the Android platform.

QVD is a highly scalable, cost effective, easy to manage, open source VDI solution built on top of Linux.

The main focus is to provide desktop access for large number of users with a very small footprint for each user session by:

    * Using the same OS image for all the users (using overlays)
    * Sharing memory between user processes (using LXC)
    * Using small bandwidth (using NX)

This version includes the Xvncpro application, you should be able to use the qvdclient instead of the xvncpro application as X11 / X server.

This application looks like nothing I'd expect to see running in a commercial environment? Looks like its been written by a 12 year-old script kiddie that stole code. Very reluctant to continue trying to get this working... Edit: down-graded to 1 star, completely and utterly fake. Doesn't do anything at all. Why does Google allow fraudsters on this store, makes me want to use iOS more everyday!

When trying to install prerequisites fails with "Item not found" on Google Play. QVD server/client worked like a charm, but Android client cannot even start, let alone connect to a VM. Please fix. Thanks

Wow brilliant project the idea of running images via LXC is just brilliant. Ok you have your andriod device yeah it steams video and browses the web perfectly but you need some hardcore business applications. Here comes QVD centralised ubuntu / suse servers providing any app so you can use cheap low energy devices and no code to be done. VDI and the desktop in the cloud :) Love It Many Thanks St
