    Description

Android client for the Rock's BBQ Stoker and open source Stoker-web program.

Monitors and controls your Stoker directly from your Android phone. Provides instant feedback from stoker when active and extends battery life when monitoring the stoker in the background. Allows changing probe target temperatures and alarms for all connected probes. Shows visible warning when alarms conditions are present. When phone is sleeping, background services monitor probes every 2 minutes and will trigger an Android notification if an alarm condition is present.

When connected to a stoker-web server, additional log functionality is available and 5 second updates when screen is active.

Works brilliantly. The stoker web server setup is pretty involved if you want to get the extra functionality. Would love it if there was a way for this app to graph the cook (without need for the web server). Hats off to the dev though... great communication when I emailed him. Grateful for all his effort given this is the only app that works with my Stoker 2 Wifi.

I've got the original white stoker, and this app connects to it without issue. It doesn't seem to update on it's own at all though, in the background or foreground, so it really doesn't help me at all over using my web browser. I'm using a Nexus 6p. If I can figure out how to get it to auto update, I'll give this 5 stars.

Paid for the app, it doesn't work at all on a Galaxy Note 5 as others noted

Performs well, just trying to figure out how to connect with stokerweb instead of the base stoker. Missing the 3 dot menu on the galaxy note. For other devices the menu is next to the soft square button (app select). Once fixed the rating will improve.(never mind) just needed to hold the back button to get the menu)
