Download books and read them from your smartphone

    • Useful
    • Easy to use
    • Not all the books are included

    "Read many books with Aldiko"

Aldiko Book Reader allows you to read books directly in your android smartphone.

The only things you need to do is to look for the book you want, buy it or download it (if it's free) and start reading it. Once you've chosen a book, the application gives you access to books from the same autor, "people also downloaded", reading list, categories, so you can continue reading books adapted to your tastes.

In settings, you can change the text size and the margins, the brightness, orientations and even download different fonts, change text alignment and line spacing.

Of course, many books aren't free and some of them aren't available, so more books could be added in the next update. Anyway, this application, created by Aldiko Limited is a great tool for those book lovers who want to save space and read in an easier way at home or in the train and subway. Give it a go.

Firstly, I used this app awhile ago for reading at school, and I loved it. The ability to turn pages with the volume button always allowed me to get the last laugh at teachers that accused me of gaming or watching videos on my phone. However, nearly two weeks before school ended for the summer, whenever I opened a book, the app crashed. This crash went beyond just the app though; it crashed the entire phone, to the point where I had to remove the battery just to turn it off. I uninstalled and moved over to another app that I won't list as it isn't as good in my opinion. Fast forward about two months and I decided to reinstall it in spite of the reviews claiming that there are a ton of ads. And what do you know? I haven't seen a single ad throughout an entire 250 page book, with the exclusion of when I close the book(which almost always had ads pop up in the older version). The main reason I didn't give 5 stars is because something can always be improved upon, such as allowing us to change the images of books on our shelf like we used to, or actually just adding in new QoL features. All in all, I'm glad the app is good again.
