    The handy offline app with 50 multi-lingual dictionaries

    • Viewable offline
    • Can be saved to SD card
    • Advanced search and text to speech functions
    • Not fully offline- internet connection needed to download dictionaries
    • Not the most attractive design in the world

    "Words anywhere, anytime"

    This ad-free version of the Offline dictionaries app makes browsing through multiple dictionaries easy and simple. With no need for internet access, once you’re set up, you’re good to go.

    There are 50 multi-lingual dictionaries to choose from, as well as synonym and anagrams databases. Once you install the app, simply tap on the add button to download dictionaries (and add user ratings) which you can then save to the SD card and view offline.

    Perform simple or advanced searches (with wild-cards, if you need to cheat on your crossword), bookmark words and search your bilingual history. A text to speech function is also included.

    It’s not the most attractive, but it’s certainly very functional and runs smoothly. Fast and smart, a handy companion to have.

    Offline dictionaries allows you to browse dictionaries without a network connection, such as when you're on a plane, traveling abroad, out of cellular tower range or if you want to save battery!

    Download dictionaries you want to the SD card the first time you launch the app.

    Perform advance searches in the dictionaries (with wild-cards), which come in handy when you're working on a crossword puzzle.

    Definitions can also be read by the device using a text to speech module (some devices don't support this and some languages may not be available).

    * no ad
    * unlimited slots
    * dictionaries added/updated in priority

    There are more than 50 multi-lingual dictionaries to choose from, including English, French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, Korean as well as synonym and anagrams databases.

    Dictionaries are added and improved regularly (ask us if you want a particular one).

    The application can be used through ebook readers.

    It is possible to contribute to dictionaries and to add personal notes.
    Synchronize your notes with all your devices by connecting your Google account!

    Upgraded to pro version, but there is 2 applications both pro and free version. What will happen if I uninstall free version? Will all data be deleted?

    Pretty good. Would be nice to have an etymology section. Seems to be no option to set custom dictionaries location on external storage.

    Great useful dictionary collection. But why it notifies about updates when no updates available? Really annoying. I already bought a pay-version, more ad-pressure bring you no profit...

    Impossible to download dictionaries. I can't download either of French dictionaries. I had the free version before and everything was fine.
