FireSitter helps owners of non catalytic wood stoves. Place a device with running FireSitter in front of a wood stove so that flames are visible in camera view. When flames go out FireSitter will sound an alarm (music piece).
*Why it's important.* Secondary flames can last for a long time and when they cease there can still be unburned fuel left. Absence of flames in presence of fuel in non catalytic stove means that an excessive amount of smoke is being produced. It leads to loss in heat efficiency and creosote accumulation inside chimney, which in turn serves as fuel to chimney fires.
