A unique keyboard interface that you can use with only one finger

    • Original idea: only one finger
    • Different, easy to get used to
    • The interface design could be better

    "With only one finger..."

MessagEase is a keyboard that stands out in the crowd, with unique templates and mechanics: this app gives us a keyboard that only requires the use of one finger. One. Finger. In MessagEase, the app only gives you the 9 most used letters in the language you are using. To type, tap on the letters just like any other keyboard. If you need the other letters of the alphabet, slide your finger in the appropriate direction.

An original and unique system that makes life a lot easier, if you're someone who wants quick, easy ways to type.

The design. We'd love an app that dedicated more time on their interface. This app doesn't look all that professional at first glance, despite it's obvious pros and the originality of its concept.

MessagEase is a VERY different keyboard, unlike any keyboard you’ve seen or experienced before. It's NOT a QWERTY keyboard! So If you are looking for yet another QWERTY keyboard with bells and whistles, MessagEase is not what you are looking for!

But if you are open to new ideas and up for experiencing a completely new way of writing -- with a keyboard designed for ease, speed and accuracy -- you will be pleasantly, even shockingly, surprised at how well, how precise, how easy, and how fast you can text with MessagEase. Our current champion’s speed is 82 WPM! That's 82 Words Per Minute (most people don't type nearly that fast with ten fingers!)

Since MessagEase is very different, you must spend a few minutes to get used to it. Hundreds of thousdands of people have, and they think it’s well worth doing so, since MessagEase saves them hours and hours of agony. With MessagEase you type exactly what you want. No more embarrassing auto-corrects; no more guessing!

We have lots of videos to help you become familiar with MessagEase quickly.

There are many more on our YouTube channel.

Also, we have created MessagEase Game (Available for free on Google Play) to help you learn MessagEase and come up to speed with it while having fun. MessagEase Game contains several entertaining learning games.

MessagEase is the world's most innovative touch screen keyboard, revolutionizing text entry on mobile devices. It's the smartest keyboard for smartwatches, somartphones and tablets where the QWERTY keyboard is impractical or very inefficient. MessagEase is the ideal keyboard for Google Glass or any other wearable device.

MessagEase essentially has 9 large keys with an ingenious letter assignment that is designed to maximize your speed and to ease your writing. It may take you a few minutes to learn this new way of writing. But you'll save hours by texting and writing faster.

To see our instructions and descriptions, from the keyboard, Please press and hold on the Hand button.

****Please note: We have no way of responding to your comments if you post them on the market! If you have a question, please email us:

MessagEase is based on many years of scientific research; it uses letter frequency and di-gram data to optimize the position of letters and characters on a novel keyboard with fewer, larger buttons. (That’s why the letter positions are NON-QWERTY!)

This novel letter position is often very shocking--even intimidating--at first. But persevere and soon you'll find it intuitive and very practical.

MessagEase keyboard also includes word prediction. To keep the package light, the word lists required for word prediction is provided in separate modules that you download optionally. Please long press on Hand and then go to Settings > Languages & Keyboards > Word Prediction for how to set it up.

Please also note that you can change the keyboard size by dragging up/down on the Hand button. You can also reshape and recolor the keyboard in various ways. See Settings for details. You can also change the font used for the keyboard; you can even re-assign new characters or hide and remove some of the characters: yes, it is customizable like no other keyboard you've ever seen.

If you like MessagEase, please tell others about it, and please make sure to rate and comment about it on Google Play.

Again, please write to us if you encounter any issue.

    Thank you!

I wish it was easier to move letters around the kb, instead of interchanging them with special letters (if there were) to where you want them to be. Instead, idk, maybe to indicate with a tap or slide to the position you want to change and make it show the options of letters you can change it to, or vice versa.

Works just as advertised! Wish you could rearrange even the most frequent letters to make it useful for minority languages!

Best alternative keyboard. I first used it on a palm pilot years ago and still like it best.
