If your device happens to have a magnetometer, Metal Detector from Kurt Radwanski looks to turn your device into a cheap alternative to other, larger, and more expensive metal detectors out there. Though not made so you can go searching for buried treasure, Metal Detector detects small metallic objects that you wave over your device.
Metal Detector works well with lower-end devices sporting older operating systems and weighs in at only 42kb, making for a lightweight app that doesn’t drain your battery. It’s fairly easy to use and provides fairly accurate readings.
Metal Detector doesn’t work with devices without a magnetometer already inside. There’s also no way to adjust the sensitivity. This app also hasn’t been updated in roughly 6 years, which means no developer support and unfixed bugs.

Turns your cell phone into a metal detector, and makes people with iPhones jealous.
*OPEN HELP FIRST, read instructions. It's not magic and it's not a fake app.
*If you're at a PC, it'll interfere with the readings, so set it on a desk, zero, then wave stuff on top of it.
*It can't detect some stuff like aluminium.
*D/L probs aren't me; contact google.
